I have been in real estate full-time since 1985. Over the years, I have met so many great families, most have become friends. My husband, Stephen, son Aaren, me, and our three birds (Greystoke, an African Grey, who is just a riot, a double yellow-headed Amazon named Dolly, who loves to sing Hello Dolly, and Peaches, a Cockatiel) have lived in Colorado Springs since 1991. Stephen retired from the military after 22 years in as a lieutenant colonel and now manages the transportation for Denver school children and loves it! We live right outside of Colorado Springs in the Woodmoor/Monument area (about 10 minutes outside Colorado Springs).

Real Estate Qualifications (1985-Current)

• Successfully completed the KANSAS REAL ESTATE SALESMAN examination and the COLORADO BROKER ASSOCIATE examination.
• Received the Graduate Real Estate Institute (GRI) Designation by the Realtors’ NationalMarketing Institute.
• Awarded the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) Designation. Only 4 percent of realtors receive this award.
• Attained the Referral and Relocation Certification (RRC) by Women’s Council of Realtors.
• Received the Better Homes and Gardens prestigious Real Estate Marketing Masters (RMM) designation.
• Accredited Buyers Representation (ABR).
• Residential Marketing Master (MRE) Candidate.
• Over 1,000 hours of dedicated real estate courses to better serve my clients and customers.

Accomplishments

• Handling over seven million dollars in any one year in residential sales including a position with Acuff and Rhodes Builder (primarily in the Skyway and Broadmoor area).
• Many of the families I helped, sell their home or find their new home, awarded me the honor as the top agent at McGinnis Better Homes and Gardens, Tiffany Square in 1996.
• Placed 9th nationally and received the President’s Council Certificate of Merit for volume from Better Homes and Gardens Headquarters.
• Made the distinguished Real Trends Publication of the “The Best of the Biggest” for the 1996 Top Residential Sales Associates from the Country’s Biggest Residential Brokerage Firms ( this includes all real estate agencies nationally).
